My frigidaire fwx223lbs6 spins, but not fast enough. I can smell something burning, but can't seem to find anything wrong. I replaced the belt, but that didn't help. I turned everything on with the belt off and everything seems to come on ok. pump seems to be working slowly. Any ideas?

Unfortunately you have eliminated the easy stuff. Check your pump again to make certain nothing is stuck, but it sounds very much like your motor is failing.

It is also possible that your transmission is hanging up but given the burning smell I lean towards the motor.

I am afraid your choices are to replace it, and hope that fixes it or buy a new machine. Sorry I could not offer a lower cost solution or one that is 100% certain.

My frigidaire fwx223lbs6 spins, but not fast enough. I can smell something burning, but can't seem to find anything wrong.
