whirlpool washer
Model Number: 20432991 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
my washer will go through the wash cycle, and will fill up with water for the rinse cycle, but then it just stops and the water won't drain. I noticed that the lid doesn't click anymore when we close it, could it be a broken lid switch even though it does go through the first cycle?? Thanks!

The lid switch is the culprit. No doubt about it.
- The part number for the lid switch is AP3100001 Gene.
