Default Washer Doesnt Aggitate-just sits full of water
Model Number: LWA4OWA2   Brand: Amana   Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com
The washer fills with water, and then just sits there, until the timer runs out.At times, you can moce the knob to the rinse and spin cycle, and it will then continue functioning. This has been an intermittant problem, but now has become a real pain, doing this more often than not.I dont know if its the aggitator, the cycle knob/controls or what.HELP ! Thanx !

Un fortunately there are a number of things that could be wrong, the timer, the motor, the wiring, the transmission etc.

Anyway, here is the service manual, and you should use it to check or rule out some areas.

Anyway, look at this, and post back any questions we can help with.

Good luck.
