will spin, but will not release water
Model Number: VBXR1090B2WW Brand: Hotpoint Age: 5 - 10 years
my washer will fill up, wash but will not let water out. And then timer will go to rinse cycle and rinse but not let water out.

Most likely the problem is a bad drain pump or a clog in the drain hose between the tub and the pump. Remove the front panel (# 375 on the cabinet break down diagram ) and disconnect the hose from the drain pump (# 655 on the base break down diagram ). Check the hose and the pump inlet. If this is not the issue then replace the pump. The part number for the new pump AP3193205 Good luck. Gene.
