Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Ok,go to the library of video's at the top of this page and find one that will tell you how to open up a Whirlpool direct drive washer. Then operate it and see if you can tell where the noise is coming from. It may be something simple like the pump.
