I bought a new timer for the washer. Can anyone walk me through exactly what I have to remove to be able to replace the existing timer? I don't even know how to remove the knobs. ( I don't want to break them). Looking at the new timer, it doesn't seem to have a real way to mount it.

I have removed the panel under the timer. But the timer seems to be in a plastic bag.
