Here's another Maytag that has trouble with the spin cycle however, the Machine control board has been changed and the R-11 was not burnt out in the old board.

The door lock light is on during the spin cycle and the water pumps out and the drum seems to be tumbling slowly. Someone mentioned that I have to replace the Motor Control board and that possibly, the motor will have to be replaced, too.

Found the part number 12002039 that has a diagram that show the parts as it is in the machine but when I pull up a picture of the control board, it looks very different. It also mentions that there are different Series for the same part number and from what I understand, that the first two numbers of the Serial Number would be the Series number. I that true? (Series# 24593828YM, so Series 24) Then use the part with the series number that is below my series number!!! Right??? Whew!

Well, any help you can give would be most appreciated.
