wiring on new pump

Model Number: LCR7244DQ2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years

Appliance Parts from AppliancePartPros.com

I purchased a new pump #ap 3600732. It is different than the old pump and was told that this new pump is the replacement. The old pump has a different wiring harness with 3 wires and the new pump has only two wire lugs. My question is what to do with the wiring? Thanks

According to the wiring diagram there are only two wires coming to the pump motor and it does not make any difference which wire where goes.
