The control board was recently replaced. Noticed washer has neutral drain gearcase. The board runs the washer as though it had direct-into spin gearcase. It starts spin with full water in basket. Am I supposed to also have put in the other gearcase?

I don't understand how the gearcase got involved in the repair of a control board. If you had a neutral drain before you should have one now.
