:) Hello: I washed two throw rugs in my washer and now it will not drain. Everything else works including spin. I removed drain hose and it was full of debris. Washer was full of water and debris. I drained by hand cleaned debris.

How do I remove pump and check for debris? I have looked for detailed instructions online and can't find.

Two questions: How do I remove and replace?
Are there any special tools I will need to have before I start.

Never fixed a large appliance before but I think I could with specific instructions. Thank you.

Remove the front of the washer by pressing in on the two clips between the front and the top. Then remove the hose that goes from the tub to the pump and clean the pump out. You may also have to remove the hose from the pump to the drain. The only tool you need is a screwdriver, 5/16 nutdriver, a pair of pliers and something to get all that rubber out of the pump. Hope this helps!! Clothes Washer Repair Guide
