How do I remove the lid to access the lid switch. It doesn't appear to have clips in the front

On that model there should be two screws at the back that hold the console to the cabinet. Remove them, lift up the console and flip it back.
This will expose the clips that hold the cabinet to the back. Take them out with a screwdriver, unhook the plastic connector to the lid switch and the cabinet will lift forward and you can replace the lid switch. Let us now if you have any problems.
