Not certain about the model number and age of washer.

I'm having two problems -

1 - cold water trickles out in all settings (i.e. normal, permanent press, etc) - it also leaks out where hose meets washer.

2 - In the normal setting only, the washer will stop between the rinse and spin. When I manually move it to spin, it will effectively spin and complete the process.

See if cleaning out the filter screens in the inlet valve will fix the cold water problem. If not, measure voltage to the cold water valve when the cold water valve is calling for power, see if it is 110-120v.

The leak is just a bad connection.

Your other problem sounds like a control unit malfunction. It may be that fixing that problem will fix your other one.

I cleaned out the valve (which wasn't really too messy) and replaced the hose. That fixed both problems for some reason....:D

Great, a lot of times I cannot figure out the problem, and so I take everything apart, clean everything and put it back together and it is fixed.

I try not tell anyone I did this though.

Good luck with your machine going forward, thanks for updating us.
