Washer agitates ok but seizes in spin and drain mode
Model Number: LWA50AW Brand: Amana Age: More than 10 years
Found badly burned and cracked drive belt . replaced belt and started machine. Machine fills, and agitates ok
but seizes immediately on drain and spin cycle.  Ads By Google Related Models

It sounds like that when it siezes you are able to un-jam the machine and start the cycle over, at which time it happens again. Can you tell us how you un-jam it, and what it sounds and feels like when you do this? Also, can you mannually recreate the siezing by turning the motor or transmission?
