See MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER R11 Q6 REPAIR KIT + 12002535 WAX MOTOR for details. There is a video at MAYTAG NEPTUNE WASHER R11 Q6 REPAIR KIT + 12002535 WAX MOTOR that explains the issue. Also, the earlier MAH3000's have (2) more of the faulty wax motors in the soap dispenser that will fail eventually. These control the softener and bleach flow.
