my agitator never stops runing continues the whole wash also if i set my washer to "example' regular washing cycle it will complete the cycle and continue to the next "gentle wash" this sounds like a timer switch problebm but would the agitator running non-stop be a timer switch problem aswell??

I would pull the belt off the tranny pulley and turn the pulley in both directions. If the basket turns in spin and the agitator also moves, you have a bad tranny.
