Greetings, Having exhaustively searched posts here I must ask. I have the front load Kenmore washer that makes a noise as if something is caught between the spin tub and drum. It will spin for a bit and then it sounds like something gets caught on the perforations of the spin tub making an awful sound. It seems to catch whatever it is for a short time and then all is quiet until a minute or two later then it catches again. Is this possible? I thought it was the door latch mechanism because it would not final spin with a load. Without a load it works fine except for that noise. I can put in a light load and it will final spin but with the noise. Could it be the shocks?
thanks in advance for any input.
be well B

Take off the back and run it and see if you can determine where the noise is coming from.
You need to know that on these front load Frigidaire models the rear bearings fail quite often, and that is what you may be hearing. If so, replacement is generally the next step as the bearing cannot be fixed and the repair requires replacement of the rear drum.
