Default Whirlpool Washer
Model Number: LSQ8543JQ0   Brand: Whirlpool   Age: 1 - 5 years   
I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II Washer, Model #LSQ8543JQ0, Serial #CK4389439, Type III. The washer is working half way through the wash cycle, and right after it passes the 6 min mark, the machine just stops working with the tub full of water. I have a feeling it is the timer, but want to make sure before I buy parts. Please let me know what you think. Thank You in advance !

double check that your lid switch is working correctly. A bad lid switch will not let it drain or spin. Timers are not a common problem with that washer.
