Model Number: wtw4800xq0 Brand: Whirlpool Age: Less than 1 year
The locking mechanism on my washing machine broke and now the washer can't be turned on at all. Is there a way to bypass the lock and get the washer to work without it. I always hated the lock anyway because if I needed to shift the load it took forever for the lock to unlock. This washer has been a problem since I got it. I joke that it can only wash one thing at a time because it gets unbalanced soooo easily and when it does it will continue the washing cycle over and over all night long and I'll wake up to it still washing the same load. What a waste of money that is. Can anyone explain how to bypass the lock and get the washer working again? Thank you.
