Default clutch removal
Model Number: ral5144bwo   Brand: Roper   Age: 5 - 10 years

I'm trying to replace the clutch, I removed the 3 bolts that hold the motor/transmission in but the assy won't come out. I took the top and bottom agitator out. Now what?
Regards,
Charlie

Gene has much to be proud of
Default

You have to remove the top ring (#6 on the agitator, basket and tub break down diagram).

Remove the spanner nut (#11 on the agitator, basket and tub break down diagram) and remove the basket.

Remove the drive block (#15 on the agitator, basket and tub break down diagram).

Now you can pull the transmission out.

To remove the spanner nut you need the spanner wrench.

Gene.
