Model Number: GHW8150 PW1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
I purchased a new pump as suggested by Appliance Parts pros. Before I purchased the new pump I did as everyone suggested. I cleaned out the hose, checked connections, cleaned out the drains, etc. and found nothing that was clogging it So I purchased the new pump and I'm still getting F02 code. I can bypass it by hitting cancel once and hit start again and it will drain just fine. I was able to do that with the old pump but I'm keeping new one anyway. Can somebody please help??

Well the diagnosis of replacing the pump was the correct one, but on these models (is your model number really 9150GHW instead of 8150GHW?)
the diagnostics are really difficult. The electronics is not Whirlpool's finest momment. I think there are two possibilities for your problem, one is the pressure switch and two is the control unit. Unfortunately you are going to have to change them out to test the diagnosis. As you know, if you order from this site you can return the parts. Good luck, hope this helps.

Well sorry to hear that. Diagnosing the Duet's is a process of replacing parts until you find the one that fixes it, unfortunately that's the way even the trained Whirlpool techs do it because the machine has such poor diagnostics.
You are now left with replacing the motor control unit or the door lock assembly, not because of any brilliant diagnosis but because those are frequently the problem with these models. If you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it. See the returns policy.
