Washer Repair

Hi, I'm new here but I have a problem that I hope you all can help me with. I have a Kenmore Washer that makes a knocking sound while in the spin mode and no other cycles. It makes this knocking sound with the drum full of clothes or not. I have tried both ways and it still makes a loud knocking sound. Could someone help me with this problem. Thanks for your time.

Take off the cabinet and take a look between the drum and the wash basket. I am betting you have something in there.

Thanks for your reply, are you talking about around the tube wear pads or in that area. I checked the springs and seem to be alright with them.

Shine a light in the spin basket and check between the basket and plastic tub,or just remove the spin basket and check, you will need the special spanner wrench to get the tub nut off.
