Maytag Washer wont do anything
Model Number: LAT8440AAW Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
My washer quit working. When you start the cycle wash, no water comes on, no noise or anything. But if you put the selector on ths spinn cycle, the tub will spin, no water will come on. Any idea what may be the problem??

Since the tub will spin it seems like it is working mechanically. So start by checking to see if power is going to the valve assembly when it is supposed to be filling. If not, the timer may be the problem.
