 My washer wont spin after reading the posts I figure it might be the clutch but I notice all washers are a lot newer. Is mine a direct drive as the others.do I disassemble it the same as the others I have read about,or is it a little different.please advise as the wife is screaming for me to get it fixed.I also have problems with the fridge but after reading some other threads I think I should have it fixed soon! this site rocks!!!!!I want to thank all who put up questions and answers!;) I will pass this site onto all my friends. Thanks to all.

You have a direct drive washer. If the motor runs in spin, you have a slipping clutch and probably bad brake shoes. Go to my sticky above, replacing direct drive washer brake shoes.
