My Whirlpool duet sport ht washer is leaking from the drain line (coming from drum to the pump). There is a small plastic tip that is threaded on the side of the black rubber drain line....the water is coming from this tip...does this mean something is blocked or coming from a part of the tub that doesnt suppose to have water?
I cleaned the drain cap... and etc.... has never leaked from that tip before...is there a cap for this tip that possibly has come off....any help would be greatly appreciated...

I think there should be a hose attached to the tip that goes to the pressure switch. See the following manual. http://appliancedigest.c...rt-washer-service-manualYou have to join the site to download the manual but it is free and this is a very good site for manuals and other info for the appliance repair DIYer. |
