Model Number: wtw5300vw1 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
This Whirlpool is 2 to 2 1/2 years old and you can time the fill rate with a sundial. The water flow has been checked into a bucket and is fine, the hoses are not kinked and the screens have been changed, the drain hose is not pushed too far into the drain (2-3 inches), and the water valve has been changed. One more symptom is that the machine seems to start filling not great, but OK, and after a few seconds, the flow rate decreases drastically. It also doesn't seem to matter what the water temp, load size or cycle is set at. This problem has been getting worse since the machine was about a year and a half old. It was never great even when it was new.
