Original problem...Washer would not spin when load gets to spin cycle. I just purchased and installed a new control board, part# AP4044795 (34001498) from AppliancePartsPro. When I ran the first wash load, the washer stopped and a code 'ND' appeared on the LED screen..(no drain I believe?) Anyhow, I never had an issue before with washer not draining, and you could hear the drain pump running..?? I took the drain pump completely out and inspected the impeller..everything looked clean and there was no foreign objects inside the pump housing... I then restarted the cycle, and it continued on until it got to the rinse/spin cycle... started spinning, but only at a snails pace...stopped at 8 minutes left, then went back to 9 minutes after a couple minutes went by, then continued on to complete the cycle. Only the spin cycle never got any higher than slow speed/rpm. Any help much appreciated!

This is another Maytag disaster as far as engineering and design is concerned.

Here is what they say for no spin

Will Not Spin

Check to make sure the door is fully closed.

Check for water left inside the washer. If
present, see
Will Not Drain.

Perform Board Output Test or Quick Spin

Test
. (Before test, make sure that the tumbler
is empty.) If it doesn’t tumble after the test
above, check unbalanced load scenario, Main
Control Board, and motor.

Check for loose connections at Machine
Control Board, Pressure Switch, Motor, Tach
Harness and Motor Control.

Check belt.

Check motor windings resistance.

CN9 pins 1 &3 = 11.6ohms ±7%,
Pins 1 & 2 = 11.6ohms ±7%,

Pins 2 & 3 = 11.6 ohms ±7%

This will at least give you a way to test the motor.
