I checked out an atf8000fs1 washing machine. At first it coded that the control board thought the door was open. I cleared it, and now it only codes a E5E, which is a communication error. The book says to replace the control board and if that does not work, replace the speed control board. I hate to be a parts swapper and without pinpointing the problem. I ran a spin cycle and the the pump runs for two seconds and shuts off. A minute later it repeats. At the same time the pump comes on, the speed control board is sent 110volts from the control board for the same duration. The motor, however, does not run. I did an ohm test on the motor, which tested good.Which board do you think is bad? Thanks Frank

If the motor control board is getting 110v and the motor does not turn it is likely the motor control board that is the problem.
