Model AAV-1 / Part #35-6940
My wash machine has begun making a loud rattling/clicking noise when the machine goes onto rinse and spinning cycle and yesterday it stopped during the rinse cycle. There was a slight burning smell??? The water was still in the machine so I reset it and it did nothing.
I waited a few hours and plugged the machine back in and set it on the spin cycle to get the water out the machine. It worked but was still making this rattling/clanking/clicking noise.
What do I need to repair it, or has it run it's course???
Many Thanks,
Paul.

Hi, the same thing happened to me yesterday, I ended up by calling a repairman to come out and he said it is the water pump so had to order one. Check your pump, take belt off, spin pump shaft if it makes a noise then it is the probable cause. Fred
