It doesn't happen during every wash load, but almost every time. It will randomly stop during a cycle and sit there for a few minutes and then continue the cycle. The amount of time varies. The timer buzzes while it's paused. Also, on every load, it will start the spin cycle and stop after a few seconds then start again and finish the cycle.

This is on the regular wash. I haven't needed to to laundry recently, but I plan to test the delicate and permanent press soon.

I'm guessing it is the timer, but I want to make sure before I spend $100+ on a new one.

That does sound like the timer. Go ahead and change it out, because if you buy the timer from this site and it does not fix the problem you can return it, see the returns policy for details and conditions.

Unfortunately, the timer on this site is $108. I'd love to buy it here, but money is tight, and I can buy it for $71 elsewhere.
