I have four different areas with spin on the dial. Only one works and tonight it quit there also. Am wondering if it is the control or transmission and how do I determine which it is.

You will have to change it out to be certain. If you buy from this site and the part does not fix the problem you can return it. See the returns policy for details and conditions
