Model Number: dlw330raw Brand: Amana Age: 5 - 10 years
I replaced the belt with one i bought at autozone. I tested it after i was done without clothes in the washer and it worked. Now it keeps shutting off when we wash clothes and i have to unplug it for 5 min and plug it back in and it will work for a little while and then turn off again.

It sounds like your motor is overheating and the auto protection is kicking in.
Don't know if this is because of the belt, you know buying a belt at an auto parts store is just not all that great an idea. So get the correct belt and see if that fixes things. If not you may have a bad motor.
