Washes and spins slow, elite 3-speed.
Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years
The washer does agitate, pump and spin, but slow and it sounds like something is rubbing. Is this sticking brake or brake cam (whatever that is)? It also stops fast and hard not normal either. Should I lube or grease something? Thanks in advance! Ed.

Here is model number.
Yes it is model no. 110.22052100. Agitates ok, spins and pumps slow. Burning smell. Thanks.

This is a direct drive Whirlpool made machine that does not have a belt. I suspect your brakes are hanging up and the burning smell is the clutch or the brakes.
