Model Number: LRS7233BW2 Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
When using the regular cycle, problem is in the final spin cycle. It won't completely empty the water out. Sometimes, the level is completely full, other times, half empty, and yet other times, water is emptied out, but clothes are still extremely wet. Cycle timer is still operating, because the cycle will complete, just not spinning out the water. However, if I use the permanent press cycle, everything works great...no problems at the final spin cycle. Do you know if the part to correct this problem would be in the timer switch or the clutch, or possibly a different part, and which part it would be? The only way I can get the spin cycle to complete in the regular wash cycle is by either pressing in or holding out on the knob.
