washer had been repaired by a technician before the 1 year warranty was over after that washer had been noisy when it's on the last 10 mins. of the spin cycle. Also have problem code f1 when the washer starts and before rinse cycle starts. Please help?

Call Whirlpool at 1-866-698-2538 and tell them your F1 problem. They will schedule a repair at THEIR COST! Mine is 4 years old and warranty is over, but they still FIXED it at their COST!

I also had the F1 code and based on the information mrsmoore provided, I called Whirlpool and told them about it. They consider the F1 code a "Special Project Code" and told me that they will cover the parts and labor costs to repair. I purchased the washer October 2006.
