Problem: Will drain, won't spin Question: Repairman told me for $350+ - he would fix washer and replace broken control board and motor.

I replaced both the speed control board and the motor. First, I replaced the speed board and was able to run about 4 loads. Then the machine would get to the final or fast spin cycle but would never kick into the spin. So I went ahead and replaced the motor but no change.

The tech sheet was missing from my washer. I have a multimeter to test but honestly have no idea how to use it.

All of the service manuals that I have seen or been provided appear to be from 2002 or 2003 but i think my washer was manufactured in 1998 if that makes a difference.

Since I have invested so much already I am hoping that I can still fix it without having someone look at it. But at a loss as to where to go from here.

Any help is most appreciated.

Thanks.

Wire Connectors - on the speed control board that was replaced, correct?

Yes, it ran for approx 4 loads before it stopped spinning. It runs through all other cycles fine.

Thanks in advance. :)
