I am having problems with my maytag washer. It is quite noisy in the spinning cycle and is now leaking water. I had a technician (maytag) check it out and he advised me that it was not worth fixing (it would be more costly to fix than to buy a new one). Perhaps, it can still be fixed.

The repairman probably diagnosed a bad bearing, and he was probably right about not fixing it.

I am sorry we were unable to get back to you soon enough, it looks like it was a little more than 24 hours. I try to respond to questions in the order in which they come in.
