Help with maytag
Model Number: LAT9600AAW Brand: Maytag Age: More than 10 years
Have a top loader that water comes in the tub when the machine is not in use. About 4 inches of water in a week. Thanks in advance.

Most likely the problem is a bad water inlet valve (#32 on the diagram).
