need to remove tub to get at def clutch. machine never used but bought over one year ago. agitator is removed but there is a lock nut on top of tub can it be removed without a special sort of span wrench appreciate any info, Jon 2

To replace the clutch, tilt washer back, remove pump, motor, then remove 3 tranny bolts and slide out the tranny. Clutch sits on top of tranny.
