BEFORE WASHER WOULD FILL AND DRAIN, BUT NOT SPIN AND AGITATE, and made a hummin noise, REPLACE THE DIRECT DRIVE COUPLING. And now it will fill and nothing else no humming this time, the lid switch clicks when I close the lid but could it still be bad or is it something else

Check your pump for an obstruction. You can turn the exposed motor shaft either way to see if something is jammed.
