My washer starts the spin cycle right when it starts to drain. The added strain blew the thrust bearing(wich I replaced). Also in the rince cycle, there is no sprits of water. Can the timer be serviced?_Thanks

Timers are not serviceable parts, you have to replace it.

I don't think it is worth investing one hundred dollars for a timer. Thanks anyway.

A good decision, I think, you can get a new, basic top loader at very good prices these days.
