agitator floats and disconnects from shaft
Model Number: wlw3300 Brand: Hotpoint Age: 5 - 10 years
the agitator float up and disconnects from the shaft. does it bolt down to the shaft? thanks tom

Here are your parts
Model Search Note Item 303 in the "Tub basket and agitator" section. If you click on it's picture you will get better views. The agitator just pushes on, I think not 100% sure. You have to determine what is wrong with the spline. Sometimes the black rubber comes loose from the brass spline, there is no fix other than replacement. Soetimes it just needs a cleaning.
