Hello, I'm replacing a tub liner collar, Liner - Tub Part Number: AP4024726 on a Maytag LAT2500AEE. Does this part require grease when assembling? Thank you.

It does not require grease. It does require a clean transmission shaft, however. Don't overdo it, though. it should slip onto the shaft and be able to turn without freezing up. It shouldn't spin more than about a half turn if you give it a flip.
