no spin cycle it fills up with water and then it agitates then it pumpes the water out but when it is sopose to spin the motor just humms and you can smell like the motor is burning up and then it shuts down I took the belt off and ran it and the motor works fine in agitate cycle but when I bump it to spin It still does the same thing I think the switch on the lid is ok or then the motor would not evan humm the model I have posted it off the dryer door this is a stackable wash and dryer I didnt find any # on washed and I do not now how old this is just guessing thanks tony

Most likely the problem is a bad motor.

It turned out to be a bad switch ,controler for the washing machine I put a diferent motor in it and it did the same thing so then changed the switch and now it works thanks for the help tony
