I have a 6 yr old Fridgidaire front load washer. Suddenly the drum stopped spinning. I can turn it by hand freely, and when I took the back panel off, the belt was intact. There was never any foul smell, or odd noises - it just didn't spin one time. Any advise? I have had many problems with this washer, and don't want to sink a ton of money into a lemon of a washer, but this seems like it should be a relatively easy fix. thanks

Inside the lower service panel you should find tech notes that will show you now to generate some diagnostics. Looks like yours if the "good" model which will generate error codes by blinking lights.

Focus on the main control unit, the speed control unit, the door lock assembly and the wiring to the control unit from the door lock assembly. If the machine control thinks the door is unlocked, it won't spin.

Yeah we know, a lot of things to look at, but that is life with this model.
