Default Roper Washer Noise/Alarm during wash cycle
Model Number: unknown   Brand: Roper   Age: More than 10 years

During washing cycle a noise/alarm starts a few minutes after the cycle begins. No noise/alarm during spin or rinse cycle. Washer is level and happens with clothes in it or without (during testing). Have not removed rear panel....yet. Any ideas? Your response will be greatly appreciated!

See if you water level is going down during the wash cycle. Check your drain hose for water siphoning out.

Thanks for your reply. The water level is not dropping. Oddly, the Noise/Alarm does not happen during the rinse cycle.
