Whirlpool Caylpso
Model Number: GVW9959KLO Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
The light button stays on the wool number, will not go off. has made the cycle. and the machine has stoped I unplugged the outlet for several minutes then re-plugged, pressed the cancel button, but nothing happens. the light still stays on. I would appreciate any help.

Replacement parts for WHIRLPOOL GVW9959KL0 | AppliancePartsPros.com The following may help you narrow it down. https://secured.whirlpool.com/Servic...LE/8178010.pdf Check the keypad with a meter, see the Service Manual. If it is OK then probably the control board is shot.

Whirlpool Calypso Washer
Mr. Denman, thanks for your suggestion. Before I received it I left the washer door up for about two hours or so and when I put the door down the light was off. all the key pads work and the washer is doing great-- back to normal. I had pushed buttons with the door up and down, but had not left the door up before. Thanks anyway for answering my help request.
