I have a torn door seal and have noted a difference in model numbers. My washer number is (FD8210) and the number on the Appliance Parts Pro parts states (FD8201) typo or what?

The FD numbers are production date codes. Sometimes parts are changed during production so the codes will be added to the model number in part lookups to identify which series we should be looking at for replacement parts. All that said, you are looking for this door seal (AP2822819) to make your repair.
