Model Number: RAX72244EQO Brand: Roper Age: 5 - 10 years
What can be wrong if a washer does not spin on any cycle. It makes a noise that sounds like it want to spin.

It is most likely the coupler. If you pull the washer away from the wall, and lean it back, and then get underneath it, and look on the back side of the motor, you will see the plastic ring that is attached to the motor, and then a rubber piece, and then the same plactic piece attach to the transmission.
