Our Washer has developed multiple problems. First, while agitating, the tub rotates and causes a whirlpool inside. Second, while in spin mode, she sounds like a bearing may be out, or that lift-off is imminent. Finally, there is a water leak right at the bottom center of the tub.
Ouch......anyway, advice and a parts list are needed.

it could be the bolt holding the lockplate has broken off.(ap part2106271). I have seen that quite a bit. and the leaking would be from part ap2142342 -seal. most of the time when the lock plate comes loose the spin tub will rock and wear on the seal.

Hey thanks for the info on my washer.
I am currently investigating the parts and problems you indicated.
Cross those fingers and hope it is not more serious.

Thank you again:)
