I have a Maytag washer that according to the specs everything works. However I notice that my clothes were too smelly and a lot of stains that a normal washer will remove with one wash. The problem with this new technology is that it gives way too little water. I like to solve the problem and I hope to get help from the professional. I like to know if I can replace the pressure switch with another with greater capacity. Can you please advise me!!

I honestly would not reccomend replacing the pressure switch. On a newer machine there is more involved than just the pressure switch, in most cases.

You forgot to supply a proper model number so I could not verify possible other parts needs.

And you would void any warranty or product liability if you were to modify the machine.

You may want to review the owners manual in regards to proper load size water and detergent usage.

Now it is too late, I would like to modify it to give more water. I know is possible you tell me what parts to replace it, and will order it.

Had this washer been a "top load" washer, there may have been something we could have done with an adjustment or different switch etc.

But this is a "front load" horizontal washer. They are programmed and designed to operate on less than 7 gallons of water, regardless of brand or model. To attempt to change the water level would create even more problems and more malfuntions down the road.

Sorry but, I don't feel safe or comfortable advising you on what you're attempting to do.
